CENTENNIAL SHOWBOAT RHODODENDRON was also part of the West Virginia Centennial summer, bring the celebration to the waterways of the state.

The showboat was built and outfitted for the 1963 Centennial as a modern theater, furnished in 1870 'steamboat gothic' style. It had the original engine room and quarters of the steamboat OMAR.
