11th Car:
Compartment Office Car
JOAN MANNING
Built as Pullman
car RIDGEVILLE in 1910 (to plan 2416), this car was a 10 Compartment
sleeper. It retained its compartments, being rebuilt to Pullman plan
2505D for the Rexall Train.
On the Rexall
Train the, car was used to house some of the nearly 50 staff and
crew. It was named after Rexall's line of chocolates -- Joan Manning.
After the Rexall
tour it was returned to Pullman. In 1958 it was sold to Royal American
Shows (circus) in Kansas City.
