The
10th Car:
Lounge Car
Mi-31
Originally 36-chair
Pullman parlor car MONTWAIT (built to Pullman plan 2916D),
this car was rebuilt as a full lounge (including two bars) for the
Rexall Train.
It got its name
from Mi-31 (Mixture 31), Rexall's popular antiseptic -- the alcohol
content of which probably paled in comparison to that of the railcar.
The car was used for conferences.
After the Rexall
Train it went back into Pullman service as Tourist Car 6072. It
was sold to the Missouri Pacific in 1950.
