The
9th Car:
Lecture Car #2
ADRIENNE
Originally 36-seat
Pullman parlor car HINGHAM (built to Pullman plan 2916C),
this car was stripped of its interior to provide room for as many
as 88 folding chairs during seminars and meetings. After hours the
chairs could be removed to make room for dancing and socializing.
The car got its new name from a line of cosmetics.
After the Rexall
tour the car went back into Pullman service as HINGHMAN, later as Tourist Car 6071.
It was sold to the Missouri Pacific in 1950.
