Two former Ringling Circus Train cars go to
Grandpa's Steakhouse
1992-2018

With the closing of Circus World's sucessor park Boardwalk and Baseball in 1990, several of the former Ringling WWII-era circus train cars became surplus.

Two of the cars that had been part of Boardwalk and Baseball's Salerno Express Restaurant and Lounge survived the closing of the park. In 1992 they became part of Grandpa's Steakhouse in Cocoa, FL.

Opened in 1979, Grandpa's Steakouse served steaks until May 2018. The two former Ringling cars added to the restuarant in 1992 were part of 11 purchased from the former theme park by Bill Daharsh, owner of Grandpa's Steakhouse. The nine cars not needed for the restaurant were soon sold and presumed scrapped.
