Residential Coach Car
Originally PRR 8272 MARIETTA INN, built by Budd in 1949 as a 21-roomette sleeper. Converted to a 64-seat coach, 12-seat smoker and numbered 1530 in 1963. To PC 1530. To SEMTA/MNRC as coach 102 ROYAL OAK in 1976. To MARC 102. To Federated Railways in 1983 and leased to Metro-North. To Dan Brown-OMID. To Ringling in 1995. Ringling configured the interior to Star Performer car with full width living/kitchen, several state rooms, full bath with tub, and full width bedroom all taking up 3/4 of the car. The other 1/4 of the car consisted of a separate full width living space with living room/kitchen, bedroom, and full bath with tub. Stored by 2010 and used as an office at Ringling's Palmetto facility.

The other 1/4 of the car consisted of a separate full width living space with living room/kitchen, bedroom, and full bath with tub.
Note the custom electrical lines that cross the roof (of all the cars) and decend on the car end. To the right of the door is the custom overhead water line that runs through each car and decends each car end to hook to the next car.
