HICKORY CREEK
NEW YORK CENTRAL HICKORY CREEK eventually became RB-157. Originally built by Pullman-Standard as a 5-double-bedroom/buffet/23-seat lounge round end observation car built by Pullman in 1948 to Plan 4126 in Lot 6790 for service on the TWENTIETH CENTURY LIMITED. Placed in service August 30, 1948. Numbered 10570 HICKORY CREEK in 1952. Renumbered 10633 HICKORY CREEK in 1958. Withdrawn from Pullman lease July 1, 1958, retired in 1968, and sold to Ringling.

To Ringling 153 HICKORY CREEK. By 1975 it was RB-157 HICKORY CREEK on the Blue Unit train. By 1977 it was still RB-157 HICKORY CREEK. Retired in about 1980. To private owner in 1992.

This car never received a Ringling RBX number, as that numbering system came along in 1982.
To a broker as JSCX 10633. To United Railroad Historical Society of New Jersey in 1992 in exchange for two Pennsy 21-roomette sleepers. Restored in 2005 as 800733 HICKORY CREEK.
