10536 LAPORTE COUNTY

NEW YORK CENTRAL LAPORTE COUNTY eventually became RB-50. Originally built by Pullman-Standard as a 13-double-bedroom sleeper to Plan 4071C car in Lot 6618. Placed in service October 17, 1940. Numbered 10536 LAPORTE COUNTY in 1952. Withdrawn from Pullman lease March 20, 1967, and sold to Ringling. By February 1969 it was in Venice being converted for circus use. By 1975 it was RB-145 on the Blue Unit Train. By 1979 it was RB-50 on the Red Unit Train. Scrapped 1990.
