10534 ASHTABULA COUNTY

NEW YORK CENTRAL ASHTABULA COUNTY eventually became RB-147. Originally built by Pullman in 1940 as a a 13-bedroom sleeper. Sold to NYC in 1948. Numbered 10534 ASHTABULA COUNTY in 1952. Retired in 1967. By February 1969 it was in Venice being converted for circus use. By 1975 it was RB-143 on the Blue Unit train. By 1977 it was RB-147. By 1979 it was still RB-147. Scrapped 1990.
