10436 JAMAICA BAY

NEW YORK CENTRAL JAMAICA BAY eventually became RB-136. Originally built by Pullman-Standard as a 22-roomette sleeper to Plan 4122 in Lot 6790. Placed in service September 14, 1948. Numbered 10436 JAMAICA BAY in 1952. Withdrawn from Pullman lease July 1, 1958. To Rock Island in 1959 and rebuilt into baggage car 865, retired in 1968 and sold to Ringling in 1969. By 1975 it was RB-138 on the Blue Unit Train. By 1977 it was RB-137 on the Blue Unit Train. By 1979 it was RB-136 on the Blue Unit Train. Scrapped 1993.
