RARITAN BAY

NEW YORK CENTRAL RARITAN BAY eventually became RB-127. Originally built by Pullman-Standard in 1948 as a 22-roomette sleeper to plan 4122 in lot 6790. Numbered 10413 RARITAN BAY in 1952. To Rock Island in 1959 and rebuilt into baggage-RPO car 757. To Judge Roy Hofheinz (via RAILCO brokers). To Ringling in 1969. By 1975 it was RB-126, a tunnel car on the Blue Unit Train. By 1977 it was tunnel car RB-127 (Tiger Cages) on the Blue Unit train. By 1979 it was still RB-127 (Tiger Cages) on the Blue Unit Train. Scrapped 1990.
