NEW YORK BAY

NEW YORK CENTRAL NEW YORK BAY eventually became RB-135. Originally built by Pullman-Standard as a 22-roomette sleeper to Plan 4122 in Lot 6790. Placed in service September 29, 1948. Numbered 10410 NEW YORK BAY in 1952. Withdrawn from Pullman lease 1 July 1958. To Rock Island in 1959 and built into baggage-RPO car 756, retired in 1968 and sold to Ringling in 1969. By 1975 it was ice car RB-133 on the Blue Unit Train. By 1977 it was RB-136 on the Blue Unit train. By 1979 it was RB-135 (Ice) on the Blue Unit Train. Scrapped 1990.
