NORTHERN PACIFIC 488 eventually became RBX 36. Originally built by Pullman-Standard as part of Lot #6982, Plan #7642A, in 1956 as a 14-seat parlor, buffet, 32-seat "Holiday Lounge". Converted to a 48-seat "Day-Night" coach and numbered 582 in 1962/63. To Amtrak 4891 in 1971. To Ringling in 1984. By 1987 it was RBX 36.
