The train was pulled by a locomotive (or locomotives) from whichever of Minnesota's 11 railroads the train happened to be on. The CB&Q, for example, used a gleaming silver E7A passenger diesel on their tracks. |

The nine cars consisted of six exhibit cars, a power car, a baggage car and a passenger car. All the cars were painted white with silver roofs and gold and maroon graphics. |

Power Car - A former boxcar converted to hold electric generators to power the rest of the cars. |

Exhibit Car 1 HISTORY - A former 6-axle railroad baggage car converted to an exhibit car. Served as the entrance car and featured flags from each of the nations that had once flown over Minnesota along with both 'competing' versions of the Minnesota constitution. |

Exhibit Car 3 AGRICULTURE - A former 6-axle railroad baggage car converted to an exhibit car. Imbued the odor of fresh cut alfalfa. |

Exhibit Car 6 THE FUTURE - A former 6-axle railroad baggage car converted to an exhibit car. Featured a raised floor to look down on a stadium, atomic power plant and rocket airport. "Stepping into the final Car of the Future will be an experience akin to a trip to outer space ... The floor in this car is raised to create an illusion of 'looking down at the world through clouds.' In view will be an enclosed stadium, a city of tomorrow including moving side-walks and freeway systems ... a cut away of an underground atomic power plant, and rocket airports and space stations." |
