Auto-Train switching locomotive 625 was an Alco S-2 built 8/1946, builder's number 74661 as SAL 1427. Then to SCL 43. To Relco 1033.

Assigned to Sanford and later Lorton, VA facility, its block was cracked by a hard winter freeze.
