Auto-Train caboose
# 92 was a converted Florida East Coast 40' boxcar. The turbine
on top used the wind to power a generator.
Cabooses were
needed for the flagmen after the decision was made to put the passenger
cars ahead of the auto carriers. Before that, the flagmen simply
rode in the passenger cars.
