The first car of the Train of Tomorrow was an 85' Astra Dome built by Pullman-Standard. The car was configured as a dome coach, part of lot 6780. Plan 7555. Ordered in Nov 1945 and delivered in May 1947. It was a 28-seat coach, 20-seat smoker.
