Joining the Discovery Train in 1979, this former baggage car was used for storage and maintenance on the Discovery Train, especially by the mechanical and electrical technicians. According to Rick Beaver, a couch was installed and it became a popular hang-out spot for the crew.

The car usually ran at the head of the train, just behind the locomotives.
