Discovery Train Canadian National Diesel Locomotives
The Discovery Train was pulled by diesels belonging to whatever road the train was on.
The Canadian National is seen handling the train at Antigonish, Nova Scotia on August 10, 1978.
The train was enroute to Sydney, NS on CN’s Hopewell Subdivision (now Rail America’s Cape Breton and Central Nova Scotia Railway).
The railroads also provided cabooses as necessary. Seen here with Canadian National caboose 79554.
