CSE (S1) Baggage-Coach Car #2 was Chessie Steam Special (S1) #9 in the 1977 season and CSS #2 in the 1978 season. The car was reconfigured over the winter of 1977-78. The side skirting had been painted yellow on the CSS, but was painted black on the CSE.

Former Delaware & Hudson concessions car #56 "Town of Stillwater", rebuilt in 1973 from D&H railway post office-baggage car 56. . The car was former Denver & Rio Grande Western railway post office-baggage car #1200 built by Pullman Standard in 1950 as part of a C&O order, but redirected to D&RGW.
