Southern Railway 718

This 4-4-0 locomotive was the first to haul Their Majesties on their trip to Canada -- on the short trip from London to Portsmouth where the royal couple embarked on their ship to North America.

Seen here on May 5, 1939, SR 718 is having a head plaque applied that features the flags of Great Britian, Canada and the United states.
