Rexall Train in
3/4" Live Steam

Steve Bratina built a model of the Rexall Train locomotive in 3/4" scale live steam in 2014-15.

The handsome steamer is seen here in 2016 at a NJLS event.

He initially set out to build New York Central L-2d Mohawk 2998, but decided to build the Rexall locomotive instead.

Steve always liked the look of the Commodore Vanderbilt 4-6-4 Hudson and had already built one of those. The 4-8-2 Rexall locomotive had a very similar streamlined jacket, so he figured it wouldn't be much harder.
