Karl Brand caught the first set of Union Pacifc cars that Ringling purchased on their way from Kansas City to Birmingham, AL on the Frisco in 1971.

Here the former UP passenger cars are headed up by a pair of Frisco F-Units at Merriam, KS.

The string of some 20 yellow cars - Passenger Extra 43 South - was followed by a 1200-class wide-vision caboose.
