PRR B70a Baggage Cars
1957-1959

Though the circus was now traveling by highway (1957-1959), the horses and elephants still needed to move by rail in stock cars.

Leased Pennsylvania Railroad baggage cars 6084, 6090 and 6094 were the trio chosen to carry on Ringling's railroading tradition, albeit tied to the tail of various regularly scheduled passenger trains.

In these three images, sibling B70a #6082 WAGNER illustrates the type of all-steel baggage car that Ringling used as stock cars to carry their elephants and horses for three years in the late 1950s.
