Dome Sleeper
DREAM CLOUD

The third car of the Train of Tomorrow was an 85' Astra Dome built by Pullman-Standard. The car was configured as a 3-2-8 dome sleeper, part of lot 6780. Plan 4128. Ordered in Nov 1945 and delivered in May 1947. It has the distinction of being the only dome sleeper PS ever built.

The entire train was sold to the Union Pacific in March 1950. DREAM CLOUD retained its name throughout its life. Unlike the other cars, it never received a number.
