Chessie Steam Special CSS (S2) Concessions Car #11 (first) belonged to Railroad Passenger Cars. This car was 38-seat snack bar coach #3002. Ex-William Fogel owned V.I.P. 3002. Exx-B&O 3002 snack bar coach, rebuilt in 1967 from B&O #3578. The car was previously rebuilt/modernized in 1948 by the B&O Mt. Clare shops into a 42-seat coach and renumbered 3578. Orignally built by Pullman as an 80-seat coach in 1930 as part of Lot 6350, B&O car #5465 (Class A-20). Used during the first part of Season 2 of the Chessie Steam Special. Replaced in mid-season by its near twin, former #3004, which was then assigned the number 11. Today the car resides in Huntington, WV. Thanks go to researchers Jerry LaBoda, Alexander D.
