CSS (S2) Coach Car #7 was also CSS #7 in Season One (1977). The car was formerly New Jersey Department of Transportation #1146. The 78-seat coach was former Central Railroad of New Jersey #1146, built by Standard Steel Car in 1925.

The car was one of the few to come back for the second season (summer 1978) without a change of number.
