Built in 1956 by Budd as CB&Q 454 SILVER PELICAN, a 6-5 sleeper. To Amtrak 2204 in 1971. Amtrak redesignated the compartments making (at least on paper) an 11-bedroom sleeper. HEP as AMTK 2222, then to AOE. In regular GLR service to the end.
